Coffee Cup Fuel Stops, based in Aberdeen, SD, seek an Assistant Controller. Minimum qualifications include a 4-yr accounting and/or finance degree. Students with an expected December, 2009 graduation are encouraged to apply. And for the right candidate, a current student would be considered, depending on experience and qualifications. Other requirements include proficiency with Word and Excel, must be detail-oriented, and flexible enough to travel overnight occasionally. According to NACE, the National Association of Colleges and Employers, firm hiring of new grads will be down 7 percent this school year. The most recent survey indicates "Nearly 40 percent of respondents said they expect to decrease their college hiring this year, while 43.4 percent report plans to hold hiring steady at Class of 2009 levels.
